Halloween was s little different this year without everyone here to carve pumpkins with and decprate cookies and stuff. We decided to have a Halloween BBQ at our house. K made baby back ribs that were amazing and we had so much food that we had a repeat party Saturday night just to finish off all the food.

This summer was a ton of fun. We were in Washington D.C. installing security systems again. D.C. is cool ,but there is so much to do around this area that we didn't even touch the surface.

So I was filling our scholarship applications for Kendall yesterday and I needed to find his statement. So I was browsing through his documents and I found a poem he had written called When Deanna Come Around. I did n't recognize it so of course I had to read it (Sorry for snooping honey). I won't tell you what it said, but it was so cute. It reminded me of how lucky I am to have the most amazing husband in the world. I truly am so lucky and so blessed to be married to my best friend. Kendall is absolutely the cutest dad to Haven and I could not have asked for a better companion. He makes me think about things from a whole different angle, even when I don't want to. He makes me a better person. I cannot thank him enough for supporting me through all of the maddness and all of my silly things that keep coming up. I love you Kendall.

We finally finished painting our house!!!! It took us all weekend + April and Todd standing in precarious situations on a very tall ladder in the stairway to get it done, but it is finally done. Its so nice to have our own house to come home too. And no offense Teresa and Glenn but now it finally feels like OUR house. Haven has a real crib (even though he only sleeps in it for half the night before returning to our bed). Its nice to finally be able to focus on other things without worrying about painting.

Kendall here:

1.  I like items of interest (the shinier the better).

2.  I tend to like things that most other people don't.  It's a hobby.  It's annoying.

3.  I am obsessed with lighting, especially in my house.  

4.  I love walking into a room and hear my wife and son snoring in unison.  

5.  I am weird about not shutting doors.  I'll just close them 98% of the way and then leave it.  Also annoying.

5.  I'm glad I finally have a blog to share these rather personal things, they've been building up for a while.

Blogging

So Kendall and I keep saying we are going to get one of these going but lets just say life has been a little bit hectic. We are back in Pocatello and totally redoing our wonderful little gingerbread house. We are both going to school full time. Kendall has one more year and I am finally done in May. Haven is doing wonderful. He is growing so much and, aside from the teething, is still the happiest baby on the face of the earth. Its late. More later
